羅德史瓦茲（R&S）是業界第一家推出整合任意波形暨圖形產生器功能的示波器製造商。透過內建的訊號產生器，R&S RTO2000和 R&S RTE全系列示波器皆可在2個類比和8個數位通道上產生測試訊號，讓使用者僅透過一台儀器即可在最小的空間內測試複雜電路，甚至可同時進行全自動一致性測試。
R&S RTO-B6/RTE-B6任意波形暨圖形產生器選項提供2個類比和8個數位通道，透過完全整合於示波器的操作介面對訊號輸出進行操作及控制。
其類比通道皆具有100MHz之頻寬，並支援4種不同的模式包括函數產生器、調變訊號產生器、掃描模式及任意波形產生器；其500Msample/s的數據率及14位元的分辨率非常適合產品研發需求，如用於差分放大器之元件特性測試等應用。
其圖形產生器功能可用於多達8個獨立的數位訊號輸出，數據率高達40Msample/s。可產生時間和總線訊號如SPI。其典型應用如量測功率放大器在使用匯流排電碼設定參數後的穩定時間。使用者可使用大型觸控螢幕來操作內建的訊號產生器。
其圖形化的顯示畫面能夠清楚地顯示所有波形參數設置，也可直接透過示波器的通道獲取任意波形。例如，所獲取到的匯流排電碼可被複製到任意波形產生器中重複播放。
此外，R&S RTO-B6訊號產生器選項亦可用於全自動乙太網路一致性測試。透過整合任意波形產生器功能，可自動產生一致性測試所需的干擾訊號，簡化測試的相關設置及執行步驟。
