- 將邏輯分析儀與協議分析儀進行整合，一來是這兩種儀器都是針對數位訊號進行測試的設備，二來則是當工程師在檢查訊號問題的時候，有時候並不確定是哪個環節出錯，這時候就需要先透過具備掃瞄功能的儀器，先將產品掃瞄過一次，挑出可能的問題點。而這樣的狀況，就是協議分析儀最擅長的功能。一旦找出了可能的問題點之後，就可以再透過邏輯分析儀，來檢測更細節、更真實的訊號。
