大多數網路營運商將在現有的LTE行動網路基礎上，採用非獨立（NSA）模式擴展5G新無線電（NR）。因此，行動裝置必須同時在兩種網路中運行。這就是羅德史瓦茲為5G NR開發R&S CMX500無線通訊測試儀的原因，該測試儀可無縫整合到現行的LTE測試環境中。此方案也是5G NR獨立（SA）模式下的測試首選。

作為全球LTE量測方案市場領導者，羅德史瓦茲在MWC 2019首次展出R&S CMX500無線通訊測試儀。R&S CMX500是以現行的 R&S CMW500為基礎，新增5G NR信令RF測試。目前使用R&S CMW500或R&S CMWflexx測試系統進行LTE測試的使用者可繼續使用，只要添購R&S CMX500即可針對5G NR訊號進行測試。此系統可測試5G NR非獨立（NSA）模式下選項3的測試案例。
R&S CMX500測量5G NR傳輸的RF參數並執行協議測試，採用模組化設計和最先進的使用者介面，使用者可輕鬆進行配置以滿足特定的測試需求。
5G NR FR2頻段的測試必須加上R&S CMX HEAD30多頻段射頻遠端無線模組（RRH）。RRH調整R&S CMX500的5G NR中頻輸出訊號，在5G NR毫米波範圍內產生RF訊號，最高可達43.5GHz。RRH可直接連接到R&S CMX500，易於安裝在OTA測試遮罩箱上。更多R&S CMX500及相關解決方案的訊息，歡迎洽詢宥億企業。
