Due to the fast and reliable charging need of mobile device and compliance test, the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) USB association upgraded its USB PD to version 3.0. Acute also updated its USB PD bus decode to support USB PD 3.0 for its all logic analyzers. The USB PD 3.0 uses the Extended Message to enlarge its data payload, different from version 2.0 by using byte offset to construct its packet with maximum size at 260 bytes. Acute TS2212H DSO, with its 16bits high vertical resolution, supports the stack function with the logic analyzers to measure the power signal to view the ripple more clearly.
